A seasoned practitioner and teacher, Karina combines 13 years of advanced studies in Yoga Therapy, Psychology, Reiki and Chinese Medicine to deliver unique offerings in personal growth and holistic wellness. Her classes live by the motto: “Come as you are, all of you is welcome here.”
I understand Yoga to be the integration of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms, which brings about true healing. By being present to what is and allowing ourselves to unfold, we may live a more authentic life of compassion and harmony.

Karen graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Religion, the concentration of her studies in Hindu and Buddhist Philosophies. She has been practicing and teaching YOGA for over 20 years. Karen started her YOGA journey studying the alignment-based systems of Iyengar and Anusara and later introduced to the flow practices of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. She continued her studies for many years under the guidance of Richard Freeman. She has traveled extensively to study with internationally renowned teachers. Karen still studies with Iyengar and Vinyasa teachers and travels periodically to Thailand to study with Richard. She holds the YOGA ALIANCE E500 designation; this higher certification allows Karen to offer teacher training’s.

Debbie graduated from Virginia Common wealth University earning her degree in interpersonal communications, and has worked in the fitness industry since 1988. She continually updates her educational credits through professional workshops and seminars.
