Our Director of Tennis, Jake Matthews, attended the USTA/USPTA Southwest Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. It was attended by tennis professionals and USTA staff from around the Southwest Section (New Mexico, Arizona and El Paso). It was a terrific event highlighting the importance of tennis as a sport and an integral part of an overall health lifestyle.
We would also like to congratulate Jake for receiving the USPTA under 30 Award for the Southwest Section. This award recognizes a USPTA member under the age of 30 who has increased the opportunities for other to participate in tennis. This professional exemplifies and emphasizes individual achievement and sportsmanship along with the teaching and physical attributes of the sport.
