Philosophy Statement:

While I have always been active, into sports and outdoor recreation, it wasn’t until 2016 that I wanted to make fitness my life. For many years I worked a sedentary job without much exercise and started to see at a young age the ill-effects of prolonged daily inactivity on my body. After quitting my job in March of 2015 I started studying fitness and yoga. I completed my yoga and personal training certification in the summer of 2016. The fall of 2016 I started working for a chiropractor helping his patients with post-rehab and range of motion exercises. A fitness routine of any kind should be paramount in anyone’s life. That’s why I decided to specialize in functional movement to help people move well, so that they can move often their entire lives.

Introducing our energetic Zumba instructor, Savanna Leyba! Savanna  loves to bring a dynamic ZUMBA class! Join her for a lively class full of fun, with a full-body workout that combines the joy of dance with some extra spice!



I have been teaching Fitness Classes since 2009. I teach different formats from Zumba, Strength Training to Aqua fitness.

I became an instructor after I lost 50 lbs. I was in my 20’s and little did I know that after hiring a trainer and taking fitness classes that my life would change.  My goal is to help every member that crosses my path by motivating them and helping them to achieve their fitness goals.

My fitness philosophy:
I want my students to have a good time while they workout, I want them to feel good, happy and accomplished. Have fun and don’t be too hard on yourself while working out, give your maximum, love and enjoy it!

Exercise is something that needs to be done throughout one’s lifetime. It’s not an end-result, but a journey. Therefore, I believe exercise should be enjoyable! It should feel good and make one smile. Do what makes you happy—whether it’s dancing to the beat of a drum, hiking in the woods, or power lifting heavy weights. One should do what one enjoys best, and that will keep one doing it throughout one’s lifetime.

Katy Whitcomb has been a Dr. of Oriental Medicine for 15 years in her home town of Santa Fe, NM. She is also the owner of We the People Community Acupuncture Clinic, and the mother of two wonderful children. She enjoys adventuring in the outdoors with her family, being involved with her community, and dancing to the beat of just about any drum.

Danny has taught dance and fitness in California and New Mexico for 30 years. She attended UC Berkeley in Dance and has been an ACE-certified fitness instructor since 1990. She works to create a fun, energetic workout routine that will not cause injuries, and can accommodate all levels of fitness and physical limitations.

Debbie graduated from Virginia Common wealth University earning her degree in interpersonal communications, and has worked in the fitness industry since 1988. She continually updates her educational credits through professional workshops and seminars.

Aaron is a Certified Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), TRX Suspension Trainer, and he holds an AA degree in Applied Sciences with an emphasis on Exercise Science. Aaron is trained in several Martial Arts and Boxing. He specializes in corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, weight loss, endurance, and functional fitness programming. Aaron also teaches Boot Camp Fitness and Water Aerobics. He is always keeping up with the latest fitness trends and studying to become an advanced fitness specialist. He enjoys outdoor recreational activities, bodybuilding, traveling, and learning.
