Eddie Neese grew up playing tennis in Florida, one of the most competitive and tennis-rich areas of the country. Competing in state and national tournaments until the age of seventeen, he achieved a top ten ranking in Florida and a top fifty National ranking before hanging up his racquets to pursue music full time.
Eddie returned to tennis in his twenties to compete on the USTA Pro Circuit for two years where he was lucky enough to compete against some of the best players in the world. After moving to Santa Fe at the age of thirty, he started teaching at Shellaberger Tennis Center. He became the Head Pro, teaching private lessons as well as adult and junior clinics.
